I am going to look at at Rolex Datejust for sale locally, I have seen photos and it looks like a president style bracelet. Since it is all silver in colour, am I right in thinking it will be white gold or platinum? I understand they never did a stainless steel president but could be wrong.|||Is the Rolex that you are interested in new or pre-owned? And to clarify, are you considering a Datejust or Day-Date (a.k.a. President)? In addition to the date located at the 3 o'clock position on both time pieces, the Day-Date has the weekday between the 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock position.

A silver colored Datejust is either going to be stainless steel, stainless steel and white gold, or white gold.

If it is a pre-owned Datejust with a President bracelet, the previous owner could have had Rolex upgrade with a genuine Rolex white gold bracelet or the owner may have bought an aftermarket "President"-style bracelet, which could be either stainless steel or white gold.

A silver colored Day-Date (a.k.a. President) is either white gold or platinum. No stainless steel model.|||Mooooo..... 2 points.
