Why is that James Bond wears an Omega instead of a Rolex?

How did that happen? I mean Rolex is better than Omega, so why the producers set him with a lesser brand of watch?|||I don't see how it's a lesser brand. The quality is similar (although Omegas are ugly). Why not have him wear a Vacheron?|||Omega gave them money
