|||Hi, what the other guys have said is right. I am a Rolex specialist and have seen a few. If you go into any Goldsmiths store they will be able to send the watch away to Rolex or one of our Rolex trained technicians. If the crown is the problem then it is likely the watch will need a full service as it connects directly to the mechanism. I you are worried about cost you can always send it away for an estimate to have it repaired.
Hope this helped a little.
David|||There's a good jeweler in Midtown...my source has them listed as Pendleton Jewlers, but I'm not sure, think that's the old one. Either way, they do great work, quickly, and at a decent price.|||This is the kind of thing that it does pay to spend the money to have it fixed by a pro whose work is insured and guaranteed. Too easy to make a worse problem trying to do it yourself.|||Take it to a watch repair shop. Let the professionals handle it. You don't want to break it.
Happy Holidays!
~LIS~|||Always take it to a dealer... they are too expensive to fiddle with yourself, you could do more damage!!
