What does it mean "Rolex Tudor California Dial"?

Does it mean that it is an authentic Tudor watch expept for the dial that has been changed for a new one? Are there any authentic Tudor watches with both brandnames, Tudor and Rolex, originally writen in the dial.?Thanks and sorry for my poor english.|||It is an authentic tudor watch which is made by Rolex, however the dial has been redone. The watchmaker refinished the dial to place the Rolex california dial look. It is not a real Rolex in the sense that the movement is still a TUDOR movement which is basically made by ETA, not by Rolex. However all parts of the Tudor watch is made by Rolex, except the movement. Rolex Watches have movements that are made by Rolex.

Rolex Tudor California dial is a a Tudor with refinished dial adding the word ROLEX on the 12 position and a Tudor on the 6 position. It is not in truest sense a ROLEX.|||Rolex movements before 2000 were also made by ETA, infact the exact movement in a tudor was once used in a Rolex President.

|||California Dial is basically refinished original dial. There is a whole dial re-making industry in southern California. Although I usually not working with Tudor dials (I think it is very unethical to re-brand a watch in order to sell it for more profit). Visit http://www.w-precision.net/aboutus/
